Softgarden Founders and VP Sales Develop the AI-Native ATS

Berlin, September 16, 2025 – Paul's Job AI secures seven-figure pre-seed funding to build the next generation of an autonomous ATS, after the founders built a market leader with a nine-figure exit in the same segment with Softgarden. The round was led by SCALEHOUSE Capital. Also participating are Super Angels: Alexander Bruehl (SaaSgarage), Rainer Hofmann, Andreas Junck, Carsten Reetz, and Michael May.

10x Faster Work for Employees in High-Volume Recruitment

We're developing Paul's Job into an ATS that autonomously guides applicants largely to the interview stage, and eventually to contract. We're starting with 10 customers and have won three additional companies. All are companies where employees have a direct impact on revenue and business success, and for jobs that keep the operation running. And with Paul, the existing team can work 4x more efficiently and 10x faster. Our GTM is running and we're now scaling step by step.

Autonomously Handle 150,000 Application Processes

Our goal: In one year, Paul will autonomously manage at least 150,000 application processes, which will have a massive impact on business success for all personnel-intensive customers. Each year in the EU, up to 40 million applicants are hired in high-turnover industries—such as healthcare, security, retail, and many other sectors. To fill these positions, recruiters process up to 400 million applications annually.

"Who could know this market better than Dominik Faber and Yannick Evans—founder and former VP Sales of HR giant softgarden (sold to Grupa Pracuj for €118 million)? Together with Putu Teguh Satria Adi, they're building Paul's Job—a horizontal AI agent that automates the entire process of candidate intake, communication, qualification, and processing for companies. From the very first conversation with serial founder Dominik and his co-founders, it was clear: They'll succeed again. And after talking with their customers, we knew: These aren't ordinary customers—they're true fans."
